FIFTY PHOTOGRAPHERS. FIFTY YEARS. FIFTY POUNDS.
This year marks Four Corners’ 50th anniversary. Based on East London’s Roman Road since 1975, we’ve evolved from a radical filmmakers’ collective to a pioneering charity championing film and photography for all.
We’ve nurtured generations of artists, broken down barriers to access, and brought untold stories to light through exhibitions, archiving, and community projects.
But as we reach this milestone, our future hangs in the balance. With devastating cuts to arts funding and no core financial support, we urgently need your help.
Fifty celebrated photographers have come together to support Four Corners’ landmark anniversary print sale fundraiser — launching 17 November 2025.
Fifty at 50 offers collectors and photography lovers alike the chance to purchase a print by one of 50 acclaimed image-makers for just £50. Each 10x8” print is produced on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl paper and accompanied by a certificate of authentication.
The outstanding roster spans five decades of remarkable photography, from pioneers of British social documentary to radical photomontage artists alongside influential figures in music, fashion and contemporary art. Each photographer has donated their work in recognition of Four Corners’ vital role in supporting independent film and photography in the UK.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a print by some of the UK’s leading photographers — and to help safeguard the future of an organisation that has been supporting independent image-making for half a century.
