Kurt Cobain - NIRVANA, 1993 is Gullick's favourite from his NIRVANA photographs, it was taken on their In Utero tour, when they were at their peak.
STEVE GULLICK rose through the ranks of music press photographers following his first commission for Sounds in February 1990. During the decade he switched through all three music weeklies, regularly shooting cover features for Melody Maker and NME, along with frequent contributions to the music monthlies and taking on sleeve publicity photography for record labels.
Over the course of his career, Gullick has continued to work closely with musicians and has established lasting bonds with eminent artists such as Nirvana, PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave, Cat Power, and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy.
